- The first Tree Planting Project organised by Kinabatangan-Corridor of Life Tourism Operators Association, Sabah (KiTA) was in Sukau, Lower Kinabatangan River on 21 Mar 2012 which coincides with the World Forestry Day 2012. Location of planting site was at Pangi approximately 20 mins from Sukau Rainforest Lodge (host)

- 45 participants from various tour operators, tourists, associations amp; palm oil companies namely Sukau Rainforest Lodge, Barefoot Sukau Lodge, Bilit Adventure Lodge, Nature Lodge Kinabatangan, Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge, The Last Frontier Resort, Sukau Proboscis Lodge, Borneo Nature Lodge, Wild Tropical Quest, KiTA, BOBC, WWF, APE, IOI amp; KOPEL BHD.

- The programme started with breakfast at Sukau Rainforest Lodge then followed by welcome speech by Mr Johnny Lim (The Secretary of KiTA). Proceded to the planting site and planted 300 trees such as sengkuang, tarap, laici, bongkol merah amp; bayur. After the activity, group photo was taken. Programme ended after having lunch at SRL.
