Conservation Programmes
1) Conservation Levy (CL)
– It is a self-imposed levy by members of KiTA, whereby members contribute RM10 for every guests that stay at their respective accommodation facilities.
- The amount will be used to fund conservation efforts such as K-Col patrolling and enforcement units, tree planting activities, community projects etc.
2) Tree Planting
* KiTA members will also be incorporating “tree planting” activities in their tour packages.
* This allows for local community participation through the supply of tree seedlings, maintenance of planted trees and provide a service to plant trees on behalf of visitors and tourists.
